99% - Occupy Movement, Civic Square

As promised on Back Benches last night, I went down to Civic Square and talked to the protesters of the 99% movement.

My impression was that they seem to lack a cohesive agenda or objective. They seem to be drawn from various grievances and political ideologies.

One gentlemen was very passionate about implementing a Capital Gains Tax as a method of reducing income inequality. We engaged in what I must say was a very polite and courteous debate - which was fantastic.
