Another busy weekend in Ohariu

- Usual Saturday morning clinic at the Johnsonville electorate office. A wide range of constituent enquiries and meetings.

- Girl Guide car wash. See attached photo. Good luck with the fundraising, girls!!

- Opened the Crohn's and Colitis NZ's Annual Conference.

- Hosted my regular talkback show on One-Eyed FM. Great range of questions asked - keep them coming!!

- Attended the Johnsonville Family Gala.

-  Home visits to constituents in Maungarakei. This is part of my regular programme. Each week I make myself available to visist constituents in a certain suburb or neighbourhood, in their homes on Saturday. All residents in that area get a letter in the preceding week to let them know I will be in the area. It is particularly popular with constituents that can't make it to my electorate offices for my normal clinics. It takes about 9 months to cover the whole electorate. I am currently covering the Western Hills. Last month was Tawa.

 

Next weekend, we are having the UnitedFuture Party Conference in Newlands. So I am really looking forward to that. Sunday the 21st, from 9:30am. My speech is at 10:30, the Prime Minister will give his address shortly after that. See you there!!
