Bryan Mockridge

Bryan Mockridge is originally from Lower Hutt, and attended Marcellin College before gaining BA (Economics) and BCA degrees from Auckland and Victoria Universities. He worked in financial management roles in the public and manufacturing sectors in Auckland, London and Wellington and since 1990 has been a project or service manager at major IT companies. He now lives at Hillsborough, with sons at Unitec and Macleans College.  

Bryan has served as a board member of the Building Guarantee Corporation, ASB Bank and Alfriston College. He was secretary of Clevedon Junior Hockey Club and managed Southern Hockey secondary teams. He is a past chairman of the Kawakawa Bay Community Association committee. Bryan is currently a director of IT Forensix Ltd and Miro Lodge Ohakune Ltd.

In the 1980’s, Bryan was a Labour Party candidate for local bodies and the Albany electorate. He joined United-Future in 1994, running as a parliamentary candidate in four elections. He was elected to the UFNZ Board in 1998-2002 and from 2009.  To help make New Zealand the best country to raise a family, Bryan has been very active in policy development for United Future as a forward-looking centre party that thinks in generations, not in 3-year terms
