Auckland Central - Aaron Galey-Young
Aaron is UnitedFuture candidate for Auckland Central. He is an ordinand in training with the Anglican Church for the Auckland Diocese, having studied at Bible College of New Zealand from 2004-2007. Aaron served that community in the role of Student Leader in 2005 and Student President in the years of 2006-07.
Prior to entering this time of study Aaron served in the Royal New Zealand Navy in a Payroll and Administration capacity. He served on HMNZS Te Kaha and also represented the New Zealand Defence Force on an ANZAC exchange which sent him to Cairns. He received a Commanding Officers Commendation for his efforts in this job and also was awarded Sailor of the Quarter in 2003.
