Rongotai - Karuna Muthu
Karuna is UnitedFuture candidate for Rongotai. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand a member of the International Bar Association and a member of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand.
Karuna Muthu has an LLB from Victoria University of Wellington. Karuna Muthu is also tertiary trained in management in New Zealand. He has a Graduate Diploma in International Business Management from Auckland University and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Unitec, Auckland.
He founded the New Zealand Overseas South Indian Association in 1996 in Auckland. He was a keen community radio broadcaster and served as a member of the Auckland Access Radio management board. Karuna Muthu also founded “Law Students International” (LSI), a student organisation at Victoria University of Wellington in 2003. He was a Wellington 2020 Communication Trust Board Trustee.
