UF announces more candidates – 2008-05-21

UnitedFuture president Denise Krum today announced a second tranche of candidates to carry the party banner into this year’s general election.

They are Pulotu Selio Solomon, who will run in Mangere in South Auckland; Noel Hinton, a real estate agent standing in Botany, Auckland; Kelleigh Sheffield-Cranstoun, an internet-based business owner, running in Waimakariri near Christchurch; and Karuna Muthu, a Wellington lawyer contesting the Rongotai electorate in Wellington.

“We are developing a strong slate of candidates who are well-equipped to spread UnitedFuture’s distinctive brand of sensible policies that are based on listening to people’s concerns and being driven by ideas, not ideology,” said Mrs Krum.

UnitedFuture’s annual conference will be held in the Martin Hautus Institute Events Centre on June 6-8.
