Transmission Gully Go Ahead

United Future Leader Peter Dunne has been a long time campaigner for the Transmission Gully motorway north of Wellington. The Confidence and Supply Agreement with United Future enabled the Government to set aside the necessary central government funding for Transmission Gully in Budget 2006.

Since then, the Greater Wellington Regional Council’s sub-committee recommended supporting the project and Wellington City Council also voted to also adopt the plan. Despite this, local government funding has still to be delivered, but Peter continues to battle for Transmission Gully!
