Today we launched our Disability policy!

It has been a long journey that started with an eye-opening inquiry in to Disability Services at the Social Services Select Committee, progressed to a discussion document UnitedFuture sent to as many in the sector as we could, to get policy feedback from, and having collated all the feedback now is ready for public scrutiny.

This area of policy development has become a bit of a passion for me as I am full of admiration for the many folk I have met who are major contributors to all that is good about New Zealand while having to work around personal and challenging impairments.
