United Future has and is proving itself to be the only real centrist party available to support the wishes of the voters under MMP so that either larger party can govern after the people have spoken with their precious votes at any given election. Hopefully Labour & National voters will see that they mostly vote for the 'centrist' policies their parties have. If they'd only realise this is what they do they'd be in a place to really secure better government by giving their electorate vote to whoever it is they favour and their 'second' vote, the real crucial one when it comes to the finality of making MMP work so the country can be governed proportionally and well - by giving the Party List Vote to Dunne's party so he can get on do what he's been trying ever so famously to do - make MMP work for the best interests of the population. If that wasn't his ambition he could have stayed with Labour and could quite easily have been doing Dr. Cullen's job for the past 9 years! Now there's a thought you never contemplated.

There are valid reasons to support Dunne and his party that once a circumspect look at past voting trends is achieved, any individual would want to seriously consider voting for his party because logic shows that such a party with a sound Confidence & Supply agreement does get on to actually achieve what the 'majority' (that vote for National & Labour) want. The business tax cut by 10% (to achieve much including giving us a level playing field with Australia) by Dunne's agreement with Labour is one example proving my assertion. This has occurred when the 2 old parties have deliberated and deliberated, put up ideas or scenarios but achieved zilch so far...but change will come..as it's nearly election time and because Dunne has started something!. Look out for Mr Common Sense's policies on things like taxation reform as the election budget looms.
