Over the last month, as MP for Ohariu, I have continued to be busy with a number of local activities as follows:

 

• Held electorate clinics in Maungaraki, Johnsonville, and Tawa, and making home visits to constituents in Ngaio and Khandallah
• Attended Johnsonville Rotary Club’s Healthy Heroes presentation evening
• Attended the Newlands Child Care Centre’s and Churton Park Community Association’s annual general meetings
• Attended a meeting of the Newlands College Board of Trustees with the Newlands Squash Club
• Attended the retirement function for the principal of Redwood School in Tawa
• Visited Johnsonville West School, and Redwood Cubs in Tawa
• Attended the Ngaio and Cashmere Avenue School Galas, Maungaraki School’s Christchurch Earthquake Fundraising picnic, and the Khandallah Village fair
• Addressed the Race Relations Day Celebrations in Johnsonville.
• Called in on businesses in Ngaio, Khandallah and Maungarakei
