On the 23rd of January Hon. Peter Dunne attended the launch of Kareem Omar's e-petition for upgrade of Cheyne Walk Playground in Newlands.
Kareem lives near the Cheyne Walk playground in Newlands and decided it was time the facilities had an upgrade. After having no luck with the Wellington City Council to bring the upgrade of the facilities forward he decided to launch an e-petition.
Mr Dunne attended the launch of the petition along with local children, parents, and the Independent Herald newspaper. Please support this wonderful intiative from a determined young man!
