Our Future....lies in "community"

In our ever faster changing world "community" thank goodness, is something all of us have some control over. The essence of whatever type of community you choose to associate with is togetherness, spirit, activity, belonging etc, even though in any community we must adapt to the forces of change.
UnitedFuture is an ally in the development of resilient well functioning communities that are able to still keep NZ going for the long term future whatever the winds of change throw at us.
There are a multiplicity of communities and these are represented in may different forms- we have over 97,000 Incorporated Societies and almost 26,000 charities so community spirit and resolve is certainly not dead!
But what sort of community is a political party and is it something I should consider joining? UnitedFuture is, I have found:
- a Party of Values and Principles
- a Party whose future lies in the longer term interests of families not what is expedient just now
- A community of commonsense people who, like me, want to get things done at both local, regional and national level
The beauty of belonging to UnitedFuture is that for many years now we have as a centrist party espousing a Liberal political philosophy, been able to influence Govermnet of the left or right to move toward the sort of future we think would be best suited to the faimilies of New Zealand- there are not many others who can say that!!
So I welcome each of you who wants to make a difference to our long term futures to join us now.
