Sultan Eusoff

Mohamed Sultan Eusoff was brought up in Singapore.  He joined the Singapore Civil Service (Foreign Service Branch) in 1981 and his career in the Foreign Service extended over twenty two years and involved administrative, political, economic, protocol and consular duties both at the Foreign Ministry Headquarter and at various Singaporean diplomatic missions around the world.

Ten years ago, Sultan and his family migrated to New Zealand and became Chief Executive of the Federation of the Islamic Association of New Zealand (FIANZ) where he has generally enhanced and professionalized the Secretariat’s operation and expanded its relations both nationally and internationally. 

Sultan is one of the founding Trustee of the Community Actions Trust New Zealand (CATNZ); The Spirit of Rangitahi and a Member of the Wellington Council of Christians and Jews (WCCJ). For his sincerity and dedication in serving the community, Sultan has been appointed as a Justice of Peace in 2008.

 

Sultan is married to Alimah Poiler with two daughters. His Leisure activities include walking, reading and a keen follower of domestic, regional and international politics.
