Mark is married to Jacqui and they have two young children.  They live in Auckland and Mark enjoys sports, cabinet making, gardening, and music.

Mark graduated with a BCom (Marketing) and a BSc (Computer Science) from the University of Auckland in 1996.  Mark has worked in various marketing roles, and is currently the Marketing Manager for a large well known New Zealand company.

Mark Roper was an integral part of the Auckland team for United Future in the run up to the 2002 general elections, and has been involved with United Future for several years.
