Fiona is 21 years old, and an Honours student in International Relations at Victoria University of Wellington.

Fiona completed her BA in Political Science and Spanish in 2004.
She has been involved in stage productions as a musician and sound technician. Her hobbies are reading, music, theatre, movies, travelling and swimming.

Fiona works part time as Front of House staff at the Wellington Convention Centre.

Fiona also holds the position of United Future Youth National Co-ordinator, and her specific policy interests are Education, Youth Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Trade, Arts and Culture and Disabilities.

The issues facing young people today are crucial issues that impact on immediate social trends, and the long term growth of our country!

We all know the impact that student debt has on future social demographics - graduates heading overseas, delaying having children, unable to afford their first home, massive debt restricting spending and saving.

The sustainability of our natural environment, conservation, making sure that our planet and country can be enjoyed by future generations - they are all concerns that we share about our home.

The Youth Wing seeks to represent the issues and concerns impacting young voters in New Zealand and make sure that these concerns are addressed in party policy!

The Youth Wing also seeks to represent United Future on university and tertiary campuses around the country.
