The Wellington Regional Conference of the United Future New Zealand Party will be held in the Johnsonville Community Centre on Saturday 31 October 2009 commencing at 1.15pm.

The Day’s Programme

10.00 am Welcome, tea and coffee.

10.30am A public open forum on the Great Tax Policy Debate.

As member and supporters will be aware there is currently a lot of media speculation of possible changes to the New Zealand Tax system. In his capacity as the MP for Ohariu, and the Minister of Revenue, Peter will be holding on open public forum in his electorate on the future development of tax policy in New Zealand. This is an opportunity for taxpayers and business people in Ohariu to make their contribution in to the process.

[This is not formally part of the conference programme, but our programme has been tied in with this public forum to give all United Future members and supporters in the Wellington region the opportunity to also be part of this important debate]

  • 12.30pm A light finger food lunch will be served.
  • 1.15pm Conference welcome by the Party President Judy Turner.
  • 1.30pm Members Forum

Robin Gunson, a current UFNZ Board Member is developing a programme for us which is being designed to give members the chance to contribute to the future growth and success of our party.

  • 3.45pm Conference closing – by the President Judy Turner
