Girl Power

One of the things I appreciate about UF is that it has a strong female factor. Allow me to namesdrop: Judy Turner (Deputy Leader, MP), Gina Woodfield (Board Member & former CEO), Janet Tuck (Deputy Auckland Chairwoman) and moi (President & sometimes envelope stuffer), to name a few.

Two of us have brought babies to board meetings (OK so they didn’t attend but they hopped on planes with us for the day!) and we have had the distinct privilege of having real politicians kiss them.

What all this shows me is that UF is made up of real people who lead ordinary lives and care a lot for this country. What do you see in UF? Who do you think is represented well by UF and who would you like to see represented more?
