Ever wish a political party was relevant to you? To your family, and your daily lives? Here’s a snapshot of how we listen to what you are facing, discuss with you ideas, and then go put it into action:

We got daylight savings extended. More time with the family. Less time in the dark.

We’re promoting a ‘Do Not Call” register to restrict tele-marketers calling at really annoying hours of the day. If you want to voluntarily go on the register, then tele-marketers will not be able to call right when you are sitting down to dinner.

We have a bill to open up paternity DNA testing: Should Dads and Kids have a right to know who the correct biological father is? Why does the mother currently have all the power to stop that?

We have pushed for the next step towards Income Splitting. Companies can be taxed as one sole partnership, why can’t families? Isn’t the partner who works part-time or raises kids at home a valid contributor to the household?

Do you have any ideas that have arisen from ‘doing life’ in your neck of the woods? Share them with the party that gets things done.
