The Marine and Coastal Areas Bill is, in my opinion, a very important and crucial Bill - because this is where Maori and Pakeha understand that PEOPLE are what's important, and the fact that we, two people made into one, must meet on common ground for all time. This is a understanding we have not quite got to yet. If this Bill is not sorted then we are in for a rough ride.
