Thank you for responding to my complaints Peter and for posting the updated council list. It is amazing how quickly a list can be brought up to date when complaints flood in from angry building owners who have already strengthened their buildings at substantial cost. We like the Mayor's idea based on the Japanese model whereby the building's status is advertised on a prominently advertised certificate - like a hygiene certificate. This allows the owners to be able to have some control over the information (not have react to correct misinformation everytime the media and others gets it wrong) and allows everyone to make decisions about where they go. Such a scheme may also prompt owners who havent strengthened and who lobbied the council to extend the timeframes, into action. Please keep the pressure up on the council.
