I'm rapt that Parliament is now going to have a good look at the driving age issue. In this day and age with the vastly increased volume of traffic and the more powerful vehicles it is nuts to have 4th formers getting behind the wheel of a car. With competent hands on the wheel, a car is a wonderful convenience, with an inexperienced drivers in command of a vehicle it becomes a lethal weapon.
