Very good, easy idea (cheek swab as opposed to blood test!) Of course Dads & kids have a right to know and all the power can't reside with just the mother as it currently is.

Re - the comment above. This idea shows how greatly times have changed. At the turn of last century if a couple were seperated, the children almost always went to the father. Now people think mothers have all the power.

Of course they should! An answer can't be more simple than that.

Of course they should and they should investigate and specially after seperation. I had this issue with my ex partner who was using drugs but no one cared about what i am saying !! No one is perfect regardless if she or he !!! Mothers have the power in this country more than fathers: misusing the protection order policy and the custody ....etc..... God Bless Us!!

My daughter is now 19 years of age. Long ago - her biological father denied he was her father after signing her birth certificate. Since he was the one denying paternity - The family court 'ordered' him to do a DNA test and he had to pay for all three of us (mother, father and daughter).
Surely, if they could do it all those years ago - they should still be able to do it now ?
