Lowering Business Tax

As part of the 2005 Confidence and Supply Agreement United Future was able to get a commitment from the Government to a review of the business taxation regime.
The result: a $3.4 billion Business Tax Reform package.

The Business Tax Reform cuts the company tax rate to 30 cents in the dollar, which will help promote investment, create more jobs and enhance New Zealand business competitiveness globally. This is the first tax cut in 20 years.
