Huge Boost for Charities

United Future is the party that values the voluntary sector. United Future was convinced about the need to improve methods for charitable giving in the community. As Minister of Revenue, Peter Dunne fought for charities with success. Budget 2007 removed the cap on tax rebates for charitable donations meaning a big boost to philanthropy in New Zealand. The changes also mean donations from corporate entities and Maori organizations can also be raised.
