Bay of Plenty - Brian Carter

Brian is UnitedFuture's candidate for Bay of Plenty. He is a fourth generation born New Zealander and 57 years of age. Brian is married to Judy with a blended family of 5 adult children and 9 grandchildren.

Brian has been in the dairy industry all his life and in the kiwifruit industry since the 1970's. He has served on Livestock Improvement Corporation as a board member and Chairman for BOP on that board.

Brian has travelled overseas on behalf of the New Zealand dairy farmers working in their interests. He has also been on NZ Kiwifruit Growers board(NZKGI) as a board member. He has also been a past board member of Eastpack Kiwifruit Co-op and Chairman of BOP Feijoa Co-op.

He is currently President of Whakatane Racing Club and serves on the committee. Brian is proud to say that he has enjoyed hard work all his life.
