Larry hails from Tauranga where he is no stranger to public life. Prior to becoming an MP, Larry served as councillor on the Tauranga District Council for the Te Papa ward.
|
|
|
|
Together with his wife Barbara with whom he has 3 children, they have also worked in community service for 25 years primarily involved in youth related issues. This has included 15 years in the Philippines with organisations such as the International Reconciliation Coalition. Previous experience also includes NZ Insurance 1972-‘73: ’76-’78. Larry is also president of the Early Pyes Pa Residents Association and is currently on the Board of Trustees of Bethlehem College.

As an MP, Larry is particularly interested in developing policy in the areas of Transport, Environment, Family & Social Services.
|
|
|
|
Despite having to support 'the Bay' he nonetheless also enjoys a good night out at the rugby.
|
