Core principles and Values

What does United Future New Zealand stand for?

Our vision is to make New Zealand an even better country than it is already.

This means building a country that is not only safe, green and economically secure but also:

  • Rewards thrift and enterprise,
  • Welcomes innovation,
  • Celebrates our multicultural diversity,
  • Encourages family life,
  • Provides compassionate support for those in need.

A country that is the best in the world once more.

We uphold these basic mainstream New Zealand values, which are too often overlooked today.

How will United Future New Zealand achieve this vision?

We will promote sensible, balanced and innovative policies to make New Zealand the best place in the world to live and bring up a family.

To achieve this vision, we need a strong economy. When we achieve this we can also have lower taxes, encourage enterprise, build world class education and health systems founded on excellence and promote cultural tolerance and respect for each other
